Mag-Restor

Mag-Restor is a patented formula magnesium amino acid chelate feed supplement that replenishes the bio available magnesium levels in horses to their normal daily requirements. The average daily requirement of magnesium in the horse ranges from 6 to 20 grams per day, dependent on body weight, some of which is in their normal daily food intake. Most horses and ponies average 1.3 grams per 100 kg bodyweight. The type of magnesium in Mag-Restor does not impede the action of other minerals in the body, e.g. it does not tie up calcium. Each 10 grams of Mag-Restor gives 1 gram of pure, highly absorbable and bio available magnesium.

Mag-Restor contains no banned substances. Horses constantly at grass may require a larger amount of Mag-Restor to be effective as a calmer. The product is not a sedative and does not impair speed or performance.
