Life Data Labs has developed a concentrated Farrier's Formula® with the goal of providing Farrier's Formula® at a reduced daily feeding expense to the horse owner.
While no single nutrient is the key to a healthy hoof, studies show that most horses with hoof problems respond to better overall nutrition. Farrier's Formula® provides lecithin, DL- methionine, ascorbic acid, copper, zinc, biotin, and other nutrients that allow the horse's liver and hoof corium to build and assemble a highly crosslinked hoof wall that is denser and more resistant to cracking or drying out. Farrier's Formula® works because it furnishes all the nutrients known to be deficient if there is a problem with hoof growth and/or hoof quality. The refill bags are nitrogen flushed and vacuum sealed to reduce product oxidization. The natural process of oxidization causes the nutritional ingredients in all supplements to degrade over time. Replacing the oxygen in the bag with nitrogen before pulling a strong vacuum before sealing insures that the product is as fresh as possible when you open it.
The nutrients in Farrier's Formula Double Concentrate important for a healthy hoof are provided at twice the concentration compared to original Farrier's Formula. The Farrier's Formula Double Concentrate 5 kg nitrogen-flushed vacuum package deliver twice the number of daily doses compared to original Farrier's Formula. This equates to a 60 day supply for a 450 kg horse at the Adult Replenishment Feeding Level, or 120 days when feeding at the Adult Maintenance Feeding Level - with the added benefit of being more economical to feed compared to original Farrier's Formula.
