Keratex HoofWash is a general disinfectant for use on legs and hooves developed in response to the growing interest in barefoot riding where disinfecting hoof washes and hoof soaks are often part of the regime. This is a very economic product to use because the concentrate is diluted with water - 1 litre makes 125 litres of solution at working strength. Unlike other hoof disinfectants of this type, the Keratex product is specially formulated so that it efficiently kills micro organisms without affecting the keratin structures in the hoof, skin and hair. Because of this it can be used as part of a regular disinfecting regime without fear of damaging keratin-based strucutres.
It is supplied in 1 litre jerry cans for dilution at 40 ml to 5 litres of water. Makes 25 x 5 litres.
